The Brief

Bring the personalities who worked and played at the Hippodrome Casino in the past back to life, telling their stories and weaving them into the fabric of the building through the use of immersive technologies and stage performance techniques.

The Experience

Lola’s Basement themed to take the visitors back in time to the Victorian Era at the height of the Entertainment venue’s fame when Harry Houdini and other greats trod the boards. Lola’s story is famous, an entertainer and host, she worked the tables at the Hippodrome and Mixed in High society, well known to all who frequented the Venue until she mysteriously disappeared.

The Tech

Show lighting, control systems, immersive projection and mapping techniques, Music and soundscapes all brought together to complement the Burlesque show featuring nightly at the Casino. All systems were fully automated and to be operated by non technical staff. The results delivered way above the expectations of the management ad delivered a truly immersive surprising and enchanting experience.
